There isn’t much to add from Marple this week, but I did notice a temporary sign went up on the A626 regarding ‘planned restrictions.’ There were no dates attached and no explanation of what the restrictions actually are. It could be routine roadworks, but usually, there’s a council logo and a phone number for inquiries. This was just a plain yellow board with black text. I’ve lived here long enough to know that when signs like that appear without context, it usually means the paperwork has already been shuffled through in the background. The infrastructure is changing, and they aren’t asking for our input.
