There’s been a minor escalation today, for anyone who is still tracking these technical glitches. The dropouts aren’t just limited to that one bank of cameras near the market anymore; they are spreading to adjacent camera banks. I watched it happen on the monitors today—Bank A went dark, then thirty seconds later, Bank B followed suit. It was like a wave moving through the system. And just like before, it was brief, completely unlogged, and met with a shrug by the IT department when I called it in. If this is a coincidence, it’s a very committed and organized one. I’m starting to wonder if it’s a cyber-security thing—maybe someone is testing a way to bypass the local grid? It feels too deliberate to be a hardware failure now. I’m not saying it’s anything supernatural, but it is definitely an ‘event.’ It’s hard to sit here and watch a screen that you know is lying to you. I’ve started marking the locations on a map of the town centre, and there’s a definite path to the outages. If it keeps moving, I’ll be able to predict which camera goes next.
Patterns Persist
None taken. I’ve worked with worse theories.
Or it’s IT being IT. No offence.
