Public Record

I realized today that at some point, this blog stopped being a commentary on my life and started being a record of it. The line is somewhere behind us now, lost in the weeks of ‘probably nothing’ and ‘minor anomalies.’ We aren’t watching the event anymore; we are the event. Every post is a data point in a larger collapse. That realization brings a strange kind of peace. I don’t have to wonder when things will change, because they already have. The ‘Watch’ is over. Now, we are just the witnesses to the final act. I’ll keep writing as long as there’s someone to read it, but the story is already written.
