This will be my last post regarding the camera glitches unless it becomes a recurring problem. I’m starting to feel like I’m seeing ghosts in the machine. It happened again today—same camera bank near the marketplace, same brief sixty-second dropout, and the same total lack of diagnostic logs. I called IT, and their response was basically the digital equivalent of a shrug. They told me if the feed is live now, there isn’t much they can do about a ‘ghost’ glitch from two hours ago. I’m not trying to connect this to the strange patients Alice is seeing at Stepping Hill. I’m really not. One is a medical observation, and the other is just a technical hiccup in a town that probably hasn’t updated its security hardware since 2012. It’s just frustrating when things don’t work the way they are supposed to. I’m adding it to the pile of ‘Stockport Quirks’ and moving on. I’ve got sixteen other screens to watch and none of them are doing anything interesting. Maybe I’m just bored and looking for a pattern where there’s only old wiring and bad luck.
