Multiple security and IT systems throughout the hospital went into ‘restricted mode’ today without anyone actually triggering the command. That shouldn’t be possible. These are independent systems with separate manual overrides. The only logical explanation is that someone, somewhere, built this response into the architecture of the town long before this ‘incident’ even began. It’s a pre-programmed collapse. It feels like we’re playing out a script that was written years ago, and the machines are just following the stage directions. We aren’t managing a crisis; we’re fulfilling a protocol.
